How do I set up Rock Em Sock Em Robots?

I have the game with no box. I have it all set up except that the fighters don’t stay on the joystick. How do I get them to attach properly?

I remember having one of these when I was a kid…or was it my friend?

Anyway, Start with the joy stick controllers, place them into the slots of the ring, red for the red robot, etc. the knob end of the controller goes through the opening first,

Next, the robot platforms snap into the holders onto the controller

Finally, take each robot and starting with toe end first, click in the front of his boot and then snap in his heel ends (they have long prongs coming off each heel) carefully, and then test each button for moving each arm and moving the robot forward and back, side to side and if the jaw when hit pops up.

I had this guy as a kid. I believe you slide in the joystick with the buttons facing out. they snap in place to specific points under the ring.in slots made for the controller. Make sure red is for the red robot and visi versa.

The next thing is the robots’s panel that and these snap onto the holders into the robot panel fits over the holes that are controlled by the joysticks. Next slide one of the two robots feet onto the panel and it should snap in place. Dom the same with the other robot; String up the ring cord, and your done.
